The last day of Operation Torch 2009 was to be a special one First of all, it was time to pack up and make sure luggage and travellers were on the bus.
Before the group was divided, a big hand for the greatest busdriver in the world: Jos! THANK YOU for your care and safe driving.
Harry and Christian, our guides, took the group to Son, to the edge of the DZ and LZ North of Eindhoven

A visit to the exhibition of a friend near the bridge which blew up in WWII before the 506 th PIR could cross it.
A stop at the monument for temperary cemetery “WOLFSWINKEL”, along Hell’s Highway
But let’s go back a little. Part of the group was invited to the Freedom Lecture
To hear Lt Col Megellas and Gen. Petraeus speak. A real treat!
During lunch, General Petraeus came over to meet with the group
Excellent, indeed.
A real honor to meet with one of the great men of our times. And a delight To be able to coin him first….
We join the group again in Saint Oedenrode Sharing experiences and a drink
With Mr Jackson getting in the mood again…
