History of Campus Housing at WSU • Apartments have been available to students on campus for many years • Residence Halls on campus are new (2002, 2003 & 2005) • Housing & Residential Life now oversees 3 apartment buildings and 3 residence halls that could accommodate approximately 3, 000 students Office of Housing and Residential Life
Residential life at Wayne State fosters student learning and success through engaging residents in an intentional living-learning environment. Residents grow in self-awareness and cross-cultural understanding as they practice social and group development as members of a diverse group of Wayne State learners.

Ghafari & Atchison Halls Atchison Hall • Built in 2002 & 2003 • Primarily 1 st year students • All female floor, Honors floor & the Community of Scholars • Double occupancy • Private bath • Fully furnished • Floors are coed; individual rooms are not • Least expensive residence hall option Ghafari Hall Office of Housing and Residential Life
Towers Residential Suites • Built in 2005 • Freshman – Graduate Students • Floor classifications • I. E. Honors, Graduate Students, 24 hour quiet hour, Freshman, etc. • 7 suite styles – each fully furnished with private bathroom in suite • Suites house 1 – 4 people • On-site fitness areas and kitchens on alternating floors • Open for breaks
Dining at WSU: Fresh, Fast and Fun! • Variety of meal plans offered • Meal plans may be used at the Towers Café, Warrior Dining and the Warrior Grille • Warrior Dollars--can be used at eateries like Starbucks, Subway and Pizzeria Venti Office of Housing and Residential Life
