Opportunities in Nursing • Nursing and Midwifery can and have a significant and positive impact on the MDG’s • Nurses are likely to be a key in the frontline of our efforts to have an impact on NCD’s such as diabetes and CAD. • Nurses are critical in our efforts to document and intervene in public health problems • Nurses have the greatest potential to improve the outcomes for maternal and infant health.
