Background of the Study Automation plays an increasingly important role in the global economy and in daily experience. Engineers strive to combine automated devices with mathematical and organizational tools to create complex systems for a rapidly expanding range of applications and human activities.
The researchers decided to choose this study to help NSC ICT Department provide an accurate and secured filing of leave. The researchers also chose this study because NSC needs a computer-based Online Leave System due to the growth of population of the NSC and it is the only system that is never developed by any employee at NSC , Colleges or outside the school.
Scope and Delimitation • The system manages or administers the automation of filing of leave report generation, and verifying leaves, thus the system will deal primarily with automating these processes to be able to solve the problems caused by these manual processes of leave process. • The other processes were added to facilitate the work of the system employee’s registration is needed, since this information is needed for the system, report generation is undeniably needed in automating the leave process. This will help deal with complaints, and is also needed for the creation of objective documents for the school’s records. The system will be used in determining whether an employee is eligible for filing leave or not.
Objective the Study Specific Objectives Minimize the inconsistencies of processing transactions. Minimize the time consume in generating a reports. To find and track down all the leave transactions.

System Description • The programming language we use in creating this system is Php (Hypertext Preprocessor) • The database that researches uses is My. SQL because it is a very capable relational client/server database system. • It is sufficiently secure and stable for many applications, and it offers an excellent cost/benefit ratio not only because My. SQL is free itself.
System Features • The system is divided in three (3) modules the faculty, administrator, director • The system aims to develop a fully functional computer based Online Leave System for the NSC Faculty. Filing of Leaves will be easier and errors or anomalies will be reduced. • The system will be secured from confusion of how many days will an employee is allowed to take a leave.
System Features • The system generates a report such as the list of the employees who filed their leave; the employees who are allowed to file a leave are those who are registered on the database. • The system will securing the process of filing leave. One way is through the use secure password, which will be entered upon registering on the system software.
Conclusion and Future Direction This study was done for the employee of the Nzoia Sugar Company Ltd to make their filing of leaves easier and faster. In this system you will see what are the available days of leave and easier for the administrator to enter the information of the employee. The admin was one click away from the reports. We conclude that this system will track all employees who filed leave, can easily search for the employees and it will make the transaction of the process faster and efficient.
Conclusion and Future Direction It is very important for NSC to implement the NSC Online Leave System to have a faster transaction to the employees. By implementing this system they will be easily track down of all the leave information of the employee in the department. The researchers want that the system will make the current system automated
