The introduction The NSTU’s aircraft faculty( «ФЛА» in Russian) is one of the most famous aircraft faculty in Russia. The engineers graduated from there are studying difficult subject and are aware of what aircraft is. They can be constructors, designers of aviation and they can use their knowledge in other spheres.
The history of faculty The faculty was founded in 1956. It combined mechanical engineering and aircraft engineering.
Subjects studied at Aircraft Faculty Students study different and difficult subject, including such as: -Mathematical analysis -Theoretical mechanics -Physics -Material science -Engineering graphics and many others.
The aircraft construction But there is one subject that seems to be most interesting for students: the aircraft construction. Students get knowledge about how the plane is build, the types of planes and how planes actually fly.
Location and organisation The aircraft faculty is located in the 3 rd housing of NSTU. It is 3 floors high and it has its own canteen, library and many cabinets. There also is a helicopter in its yard.
Few words about people graduated from faculty The rector of NSTU is the aircraft faculty alumnus. About 90% of people working on aircraft faculty are also NSTU alumni.
Benefits from being enrolled to the Aircraft faculty Below are listed the benefits of studying at the aircraft faculty: -You get high-qualified education -You are adapted for different tasks -You may work in a very specific sphere -You also may become a pilot
The conclusion To sum up, let’s say that it is very easy to be enrolled to the aircraft faculty, but sometimes it’s very difficult to study at. Everybody makes their own choices, and I made mine.
