Novell Native File Access for All www. novell. com Richard D. Jones Storage Products Manager Novell, Inc. rjones@novell. com
Abstract • Companies today deploy and maintain a variety of different client software on their workstations and laptops in order to access storage on Novell networks • Novell Native File Access services now overcomes the need for special software to be installed and maintained on the Windows, Macintosh or UNIX/Linux workstations in order to access and share data • This server-based solution allows these clients to securely access Novell storage right out of the box 4 It also allows web-capable devices to securely access Novell storage • This session explores the Native File Access and browser-based solutions • We will outline which solutions will best meet your organization's needs
