Progress for the Month – Noise Abatement Rock Drills Key Milestone / Deliverable (currently relevant) 1 “Source mine” investigations planned and agreed to 2 Value case report submitted for review Date Due Date Started % Complete Sept 2011 0% March Sept 2012 2011 Date completed 0% “Source mine” – No actual source mine available for testing the closed loop hydro power rock drills. Modikwa is presently proceeding with this as a possible leading practice as it will be easy to slot into the existing Rock drill selection tool used for the Hilti. 5
Progress for the Month – January 2012 Highlights - (Achievements, Commendations & Lessons Learnt) 1 Anglo Gold – Vaal River Operations busy customizing leadership and behavioural communications plans ex the HPD_TAS_Tool to assist in the transformation to customized HPD’s, “Noise Clipper” (Await feedback) 2 Xstrata Alloys- They are pursuing electric drilling and therefore the Hilti. The assessment tool being evaluated and feedback is expected soon. 3 Exxaro invitation, “DC will present at a Managers forum in February 2012 the HPD tool. 4 ASPASA –Promoting MOSH adoption for 2012 meetings has been received with agenda for 23 February 2012. 5 Meetings- Noise Roster updates and meeting are taking place – An improvement on 2011 6 Sasol - Courtesy visit date is finalized for 20 January 2012 6
