Her mission throughout the entire time is to protect the rights and represent the interests of students. The main areas of activity are sports and recreation, information and analytical work, solution of housing and communal problems, organization of cultural events. The total number of members of the trade union organization is 90% of all university students, which is 6, 941 people. Welcome to Zhdanivets Each year, about 1500 students and employees can rest and improve their health in the health-improving dispensary and in the health-sports camp located in a pine forest on the shore of the Gorky Sea. Sports and recreation camp "Zhdanovets" was opened in 1959 by the decision of the rector's office, trade union committees of students and teachers of the Gorky Polytechnic Institute.
