5 Environment Policy Environmental Management System meets the requirements of ISO 14001: 2004. - 217 million roubles were assigned for environment activities. - Actual volume of emission of contaminating substances into ambient air are 354 tons lower than the permitted ones. - The volume of contaminated air emission done by JSC Nizhnekamskshina is less than 3% in relation to the overall emissions volume made by all production plants of the Nizhnekamsk industrial unit.

6 Production equipment The program of refurbishment of production equipment is in force. A new equipment is being continuously purchased & installed.
