Task Implementation • Each Task is made of one or more Component(s) • Each Task Implementation • Each Task is made of one or more Component(s) • Each Component is implemented by a set of Leads and Contributors (GEO Members or POs) • Leads and Contributors are represented by individuals • One individual representing a Lead agrees to serve as a Point of Contact for the Component (see “Guide to Leads”)

Task Implementation • The sum of all Leads and Contributors within (all Components of) Task Implementation • The sum of all Leads and Contributors within (all Components of) a Task form the Task Team • The Task Team is led by the Task Coordinator whose main functions are to: - Foster interactions within Task - Ensure cross-fertilization of activities - Look for synergies with other Work Plan Tasks - Provide direct link to Implementation Boards

Role of « Point of Contact » • • • Provide single point of Role of « Point of Contact » • • • Provide single point of communication for all those involved in Component In framework of online Work Plan Sheet update, report on progress to the GEO community (including input from other Leads and contributors) Support coordination at Task level (working with Task Coordinator, e. g. for ensuring that Component planning is well aligned with other Task Components) Serve as liaison with Task Coordinator, Communities of Practices and GEO Secretariat Bring any issue requiring guidance to attention of Community of Practice and/or Task Coordinator (who will bring issue further to Implementation Boards)
