Nevsky prospect – the main street of St. Petersburg, one of the most famous streets in Russia and the world
Nevsky Prospekt stretches for 4, 5 (four and a half) kilometers from the Admiralty to the Alexander Nevsky Lavra
Its present name of Nevskiy prospect received in 1781. It bears the name of the national hero Prince Alexander Nevsky.
Nevsky Prospekt crosses the Fontanka ( This is the Anichkov bridge),
crosses the Moika (This is the Green bridge)
and crosses the Griboyedov canal (This is the Kazansky bridge).
