The CISR IA Certificate Program certifies that students satisfying program requirements are trained to the Federal NSTISSI: – 4011 Information Systems Security Professionals – 4012 Designated Approving Authorities – 4013 System Administration in Information Systems Security – 4014 Information Systems Security Officers – 4015 System Certifiers.
• CISR offers students the opportunity to choose one of several academic programs and specialty tracks. • This diverse program: – Involves students from various curricula in thesis research – Addresses beginning through advanced students – Engages students in on-going research and technology development – Enhances students' experiences through hands-on laboratory use of secure systems
Graduate Fellowships / Scholarships • CISR and the NSF offer graduate fellowships/scholarships to civilians wishing to earn a Master's Degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in Information Assurance • Students receive a full 2 -year tuition, an entry-level annual salary while in school, and placement in a summer internship program. After completion, students seek full-time, paid positions with the Federal Government where they will work for a minimum of two years.
