My Village 2009/10 1. C ZA Martin Šarišský

§ I live in Ďačov. It is a small village, which has a population of 745 inhabitants. There are two churches in our village. The first is Greek Catholic and the second is Roman Catholic. I am a Greek Catholic. We also have two shops. One shop is at the beginning of the village and another is at the end of the village. We have one pub and a community center. Both buildings are in the middle of the village. In the pub, we have table football. I like table football. We also have a football club.

§ We have two musical groups too. One is called Salaš and the second one is Evans. § I play in group Evans. I play the guitar. § I play football too. I play football in a nearby village Dubovica. I play a left defender. § I live with my family in a big house.

§ This is our Greek Catholic Church. It Is very big and very nice especially from the inside.

§ This is a coat of arms of our village Ďačov. There is a pile of gold as an uncle.

§ Ďačov is very nice because it is very green and green colour is my favourite colour. There are many beautiful, large trees in Ďačov.

§ In Ďačov there is also one place, where people go skiing and gliding. It is very nice. I can see it from my home. Our priest often goes to fly.

§ And here is our table football. It is my love. . Everybody says, that I am the best in it. § But I also love the classical football and my guitar.

But I most love my family and my village. Because they give me everything. Dačov is really a very nice village, in which I have my family and my friends. I would never leave it, to live abroad. I love my village.
