MY FAVOURITE GROUP
THE BEGINNING "Night Snipers" is a Russian rock group. It was founded in 1993 as an acoustic female duo of Diana Arbenina and Svetlana Surganova. The ladies played guitar and violin respectively, sharing the vocal and songwriting duties evenly.
Since its inception the band has participated in a variety of Russian musical festivals — from the underground to the major events (Nashestvie, Maxidrom ), as well as touring extensively domestically and abroad.
Best known singles of the band are "31 st Spring", "Boundary" , "Capital", "Asphalt" , and "Actress".
IN 2002 SVETLANA SURGANOVA LEFT THE BAND TO CREATE HER OWN GROUP "SURGANOVA AND ORCHESTRA", AND DIANA REMAINED THE HEADLINER OF NIGHT SNIPERS.

THE BAND ALSO CONSISTS OF SOLO GUITARIST DENIS ZHDANOV, BASS GUITARIST SERGEY MAKAROV, DRUMMER DMITRY GORELOV.
DIANA ARBENINA IS THE LEADER OF A ROCK GROUP «NIGHT SNIPERS» SHE WAS BORN ON THE 8 OF JULY IN 1974. SHE PREFERS TO CALL HER POEMS – «ANTI-SONGS»
DIANA ARBENINA IS FAMOUS FOR HER SONGS AND POEMS. TODAY SHE IS AN AUTHOR MORE THAN 200 SONGS AND MANY TENS POEMS.
FEBRUARY 4, 2010 GAVE BIRTH TO TWINS: A SON ARTEM AND A DAUGHTER MARTHA. DIANA ARBENINA GOES TOGETHER WITH THEM BY A TOUR.
THE FIRST CONCERT OF THE GROUP IN THE UPDATED STRUCTURE WAS HELD ON JANUARY 13, 2014: DENIS ZHDANOV BECAME THE NEW SOLO GUITARIST
THE NEW BASS GUITARIST IS SERGEY MAKAROV
THE NEW DRUMMER IS DMITRY GORELOV.
EVERY YEAR THE BAND GOES ON CONCERT TOURS IN RUSSIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES. THE NUMBER OF COUNTRIES INCLUDED IN "THE NIGHT SNIPERS" TOUR LIST IS CONSTANTLY GROWING. THE MOST VISITED COUNTRIES ARE UKRAINE, KAZAKHSTAN, ISRAEL, USA, CANADA, GERMANY.
THE LEADER DIANA ARBENINA PERFORMS CONCERTS WITH THE BAND AS WELL AS SOLO ACOUSTIC PROGRAMS.
