My Favorite City Anna Timashkova
Los Angeles. Why? I will tell you why. Because it is one of the greatest. First of all it is nicknamed the City of Angels, Los Angeles is a world center of business, international trade, entertainment, culture, media, fashion, science, technology, and education. So it is almost like Saint Petersburg, but… better.
Secondly, Los Angeles has been ranked the third richest city and fifth most powerful and influential city in the world. Imagine what is going on over there. Big, big deals. As the home base of Hollywood, it is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World", leading the world in the creation of television production, video games, and recorded music.
Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles Country Museum There are 841 museums and art galleries in Los Angeles County. Natural History Museum Some of the notable museums are the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (the largest art museum in the Western United States), the Getty Center (part of the larger J. Paul Getty Trust, the world's wealthiest art institution), and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Now let us talk about one of the most famous places in the USA and, probably, in the whole world – Hollywood is a famous district in Los Angeles, California, United States situated westnorthwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Of course you are aware of the following part of Hollywood. The Walk of Fame. That is where all the celebs walk and, as you can say, get their own star of fame. Not everyone is allowed to obtain such a big thing, but, let’s face it, Ricky Martin… you have got to be kidding me, Hollywood.
You may know Hollywood by its internal motion pictures industries such as Paramount Pictures and other guys and girls. They are situated in a special district of L. A. It is almost like a town inside a town. All the cinematic culture of America that you know has been evolving there since ever.
It is also famous for its gaming industry. Tons and tons of games you have probably heard of have been tested and released there in the first place.
It is the place where creative advertising begins. You can see lots of ads around the city and companies keep feeding you their products by placing, for example, Mc. Donalds banners right in front of your sight. Very interesting and clever concept. “You go, Mc follows. Always. ” I would say.
In conclusion, L. A. is lots of fun, it is pretty warm out there and the sights are just incredibly fascinating. Definitely visit this one if you have an opportunity. I can recommend it for everyone – from young to old. Relax and enjoy the water or be the first to get a new device from famous brands. Anyone can find something good in Los Angeles.
