My favorite band is Maroon

Maroon 5 american pop — rock band hailing from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in 1994 under the name «Kara’s Flowers». Its members included vocalist and rhythm guitarist Adam Levine, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, bass guitarist Mickey Madden and drummer Ryan Dusík. Worldwide success came in 2004 with the single «This Love». The team of three climbed to the top of the national US charts in 2007 with the song «Makes Me Wonder», in 2011 with the single «Moves Like Jagger», and in 2012 with the song «One More Night»

In 1997 they released their first album «The Fourth World». In 2001, with the arrival of guitarist James Valentine, the group was renamed Maroon 5. Following a year in the life of musicians was marked by the release of their debut album «Songs about Jane». Among the most prominent hits of the album: «Harder to Breathe», «This Love», «She Will Be Loved» and «Sunday Morning». This album was a huge success and went gold, platinum and multi-platinum in many countries[2]. Already having the status of star group, Maroon 5 released their second Studio album «It Won’t Be Soon Before Long» in may 2007, five years after the release of «Songs about Jane». The group’s second album debuted in first place in the list of Billboard 200. The album received platinum certification, and only the U. S. has sold about 1. 6 million copies. In the summer of 2010 was released the third Studio album «Hands All Over» single «Misery». In 2011 the band performed for the first time in Russia, giving two concerts in St. Petersburg and Moscow in the framework of the world tour in support of the album «Hands All Over». In early February of 2016, it became known that musicians star team once again going to Russia, this time only to Moscow. The only concert was held in SC «Olympic» on 3 June.

In March two thousand seven they released their second album It Won’t Be Soon Before Long. The first single from it — «Makes Me Wonder» — topped the U. S. sales chart (Billboard Hot 100). The name of the album, which can be roughly translated as «It will be soon», was inspired by the phrase which group members encouraged each other during the endless tour. On the new disc, the group significantly changed its sound, the musicians admitted that the album was written primarily impressed by the creativity of such musicians of the 80 s years, as the Prince (Prince Rogers Nelson), Michael Jackson (Michael Jackson) and the Talking Heads. The following year was marked for the band to release live album «Live from So. Ho» and collection of remixes of «Call & Response: The Remix Album». Adam Levine has worked also in duets with Alicia Keyes (Alicia Keys) and Kanye West (Kanye West).
