Punta Higuero (the lighthouse) There are little tables for picnics, a grocery stall and the small museum in the beacon building. Museum expositions of Punta Higuero are devoted to the ships which sank at coast of Puerto Rico and history of navigation of the Caribbean Basin. El Faro is known for picturesque types. In the winter, sometimes, humpbacked whales float in hundred yards from the coast.
