Optical Link Tests Currently we are testing 3 optical links in a MPC to Optical Link Tests Currently we are testing 3 optical links in a MPC to SP chain test • One test uses the pseudo-random number test built into the TLK 2501 chipset • Another uses software that downloads data into the MPC buffers and explicitly reads out and compares the data received by the SP • The CCB is used for control and clock signals Software, firmware, and tests are still ongoing US CMS DOE/NSF Review, 19 -21 May 2003 14
