Overview of MTEOR User Group Timeline Ongoing Originators David Williams and Todd Black Co-Leaders Steve Colella and Nancy Paradice Purpose The purpose of the group is to bring together existing MTEOR users to identify and recommend opportunities for future enhancements to the MTEOR program. Objectives 1. Gain an understanding of any MTEOR program constraints and ease of use issues through the user perspective. 2. Recommend future enhancement initiatives for the MTEOR program that will improve the user experience, including communications, ease of use, and reporting. 3. Review and build upon the recommendations from MTAC Work Group #153: “Mailer MTE Inventory Tracking and Reporting Process”. 3

New Buy Information/Inventory National inventories continue to remain substantially higher than SPLY as we receive New Buys and collect excess inventory from the field in preparation for the Fall Mailing Season. 6

Phase 2. a Overview q What is it? ● q Phase 2. a provides the ability to order MTE from Postal plants Who does it impact? ● MTESC Mailers – Mailers who currently order MTE from the MTESC will have the option to either order directly from the MTESC or pick up from a Postal plant ● Local Mailers – Mailers who only pick up MTE from Postal Plants will use MTEOR to request MTE 8
Phase 2. a Timeline q Pilot will launch at 3 Postal plants beginning October 7, 2013 ● Santa Ana P&DC ● ● q Indianapolis P&DC South Jersey P&DC Phased roll-out for all Mailers will take place one Area at a time beginning early 2014 9
Future Enhancements q Below are some potential enhancements planned for the MTEOR application: ● ● Customer Reports – Templates are still being defined and are open for discussion Messaging ‘Module’ on MTEOR Homepage – Various updates will be shared with users via messages (i. e. known system issues; MTE supply updates, etc. ) Order History – Order history will be expanded to 10/15/30 days. Users will eventually be able to export up to 13 months of order history Withdraw Capabilities - When a user withdraws an order, the screen will be automatically updated to show the available transportation and ‘Modify’ will be added as an order status 10
