The basic idea of the film. • Two American bailiffs are sent to one of the islands in the State of Massachusetts to investigate the disappearance of a patient hospital for the insane criminals. In conducting the investigation they will encounter a web of lies, and bring down the deadly hurricane riot slum clinic, who throw them on the island, as in a trap.

The main characters. Leonardo Di. Caprio as Teddy Daniels. Mark Ruffalo as Chuck Oul.

Who or what acts against the character. Max von Sydow as Dr. Naehring Ben Kingsley as Dr. Cawley

The problem the main character wants to solve. • In the fall of 1954 the US Marshal Teddy Daniels and his partner Chuck Oul sent to investigate the disappearance of Rachel Solando child-killers, escaped from the hospital for the criminally insane. Marshals must understand how insane patient could escape from the protected place? Or it someone help? Interrogations staff and patients did not help, but one of the patients furtively writes in a notebook Teddy message: "Run!".
