Jonas Brothers — popular American pop fate the group consisting of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas. At present the group let out five albums: «It’s About Time» in 2006, «The Jonas Brothers» in 2007, «A Little Bit Longer» in 2008, «Lines, Vines and Trying Times» in 2009, « «Jonas L. A. » » in 2010.
In 2008 the group has been nominated for a rank «the Best new group» on 51 st ceremonies of delivery of awards of the Grammy. Also the collective has received an award as «Break of year» under version American Music Awards. In 2011 the group has received award Bravo OTTO as the best group of year.
The group has begun the existence as Nicolas Jonas solo project. When Nick was 6 years old, it has been noticed by the agent during the performance in a hairdressing salon. In 7 years Nick has started to act on the Broadway. Till 2004 it has acted in several statements, among which «A Christmas Carol» , «Beauty and the Beast» , «Les Misérables» and «The Sound of Music» .
In 2002 Nick has written a song «Joy To The World (A Christmas Prayer)» . In 2003 sound recording label INO Records has let out a song on Christian radio where it became enough popular. Soon Nick has signed the contract with Columbia Records and has let out a song «Dear God» . The debut album should be let out after an exit of the second single, but has been postponed and let out by the limited circulation later. For a solo album of Nick has written down some songs with the brothers Joe and Kevin.
In 2005 the new president of Columbia Records Steve Grinberg heard Nick's album. After a meeting with Anybody on which it together with brothers sang the song "Please Be Mine", the contract as group has been offered all three brothers. After the conclusion of the contract with Columbia Records, brothers decided to call the group "Sons Of Jonas", but renamed it into «Jonas Brothers» later.
The first single of Jonas Brothers "Mandy" has been let out on December 27, 2005. The premiere of video took place on a TRL broadcast on the musical MTV channel on February 22, 2006. Also in February other song "Time For Me to Fly" has been published on a soundtrack to the film "Aquamarine". All winter and spring of 2006 the group carried out in round with sisters of Aly & AJ.
In February, 2007 Jonas Brothers have signed the contract with Hollywood Records. On June, 16 th, 2007 beginning group the summer tour on cities of America.
The first single «Hold On» from a new album has been let out in the spring of 2007. Their album with the same name «Jonas Brothers» has been let out on August, 7 th, 2007. In the first week it has reached the fifth place in chart Billboard Hot 200. Right after album release the second single «SOS» has been let out. From now on the group has started to advance the album actively. On August, 17 th they have taken part in shootings of one series of a serial «Hannah Montana» the channel Disney under the name «Me and Mr. Jonas» . They also have written down a joint song with Miley Cyrus «We Got the Party» . On November, 18 th the group has acted at ceremony American Music Awards with the song «SOS» .
On October, 18 th, 2007 joint round Jonas Brothers with Miley Cyrus, consisting of 54 concerts across all America has begun. It will end on January, 9 th, 2008 in New York. In connection with their big success, the company Disney film shootings <<Camp Rock>> and a serial<<J. O. N. A. S>> have begun. » With group in leading roles which left in the summer of 2008.
