Memo Ø A memo (full name: memorandum) has become a very common form of business communication used for a wide variety of messages exchanged between people working in the same organization.
Why do people write memos? Ø to give information (e. g. about events, activities, changes) Ø to ask for information (e. g. about preferred holiday dates) Ø to give instructions Ø to remind people to take action Ø to make recommendations (e. g. to buy new equipment)
