Senior Member Promotion TITULO DE LA TAREA: Nominación de Candidatos para el Grado de Senior Member (SM) OBJETIVO: Identificar y nominar para el Grado de Senior Member a miembros de la Sección XX de IEEE que son genuinos candidatos RELEVANCIA DE LA TAREA: El reconocimiento a la labor profesional o académica es un fuerte motivador para el individuo. El IEEE reconoce una trayectoria profesional, académica o tecnológica a través de la categorización como Senior Member. Region 9 Membership Region 9 is currently the smallest IEEE region. At the end of March 2012 the Region had 12, 264 total members: – R 9 represents 3. 6% of IEEE’s total membership. – R 9 has 6, 886 Higher Grade Members, 1, 310 Graduate Student Members, and 4, 068 Student Membership in the R 9 is up by 3. 1% from March 2011, representing a gain 363 members. Higher grade membership is up by 6. 8% from March 2011, representing a gain of 436 members. Graduate Student Membership is down by 12. 6% from March 2011, representing a loss of 188.
