Short history - achievements Akamai State of the Internet, Q 2, 2014 EMEA Romania is ranked 6 th according to the average speed. Romania is ranked 2 nd according to the peak speed. High speed are made available down to the end user: 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps and 1 Gbps connections are available in Romania at very affordable prices, all under 30 EUR/month.
IEX Facts Since 2012, the number of partners slightly decreased, from 63 to 53 The peak traffic increased, from 20 Gbps to 43 Gbps. Implementation of IPv 6, peers using both IPv 4 and IPv 6 connections. BGP route servers running BIRD. Presence in the biggest neutral collocation center in Bucharest: NXData POP in Constanta. Under construction: 3 new POPs, in Cluj, Timisoara and Frankfurt.
