Welcome to the Supplier Development Programme SDP is a local authority initiative in partnership with Scottish Government and DSBEP The aim of the programme is to ensure that Scottish SME’s and Third Sector organisations have access to free procurement advice and training, to ensure they can FIND, WIN and KEEP government contracts

SDP ensure businesses gain the skill set to tender successfully for contracts and improve their prospects when competing for government contracts - in the UK and beyond.

ESPD (Scotland) Suppliers no longer need to provide certificates or supporting documents - allowing you to self-declare that your business meets the selection & exclusion criteria set out in each opportunity. You will be asked to provide proof at a later stage.
EU Thresholds Contracts lower than the EU thresholds (known as "below-threshold" contracts) are subject to fewer rules. These contracts must still be advertised All public contracts in Scotland over £ 50 K for goods & services or £ 2 m works contracts will be advertised via the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) website.
