• The mechanical engineering faculty is one of the oldest faculties in the Ur. FU. It was founded in 1920 and have more than 30000 graduates.

• The MEF comprises 12 departments , providing education in 14 specialties. More than 2000 fulltime and 2000 part-time students are being trained at the faculty.

• Mechanical engineer is a creative personality. Many students start their research work during the 3 rd year. They successfully do it under supervision their lectors and scientific workers.

Laborotory

• To learn the subject in full, there are classes in the laboratory. They are there for whatever phenomena described in lectures and costed in practice have been studied and measured live.

• In the laboratories of the Department of Physics students have a great opportunity to see firsthand the diffraction pattern, to study the properties of glycerin, get current waveforms in home network and etc.

Students life at the faculty are very interesting. There are so many varieties of spending the big break! In first you can have a meal. If you are not hungry you can meet your friends on the 2 nd or 3 rd floor and discuss some interesting things.

• In the summer you can try yourself in the Kochnevo.
