Changes: Functionality Changes: Changes in where items are: § Labels can now be completed right from the Manage Index. § Search using the Search by drop down in Manage Index as well as MSDS index for general users. § Facility Information is where you create users, upload Hazcom Plans, set up emergency contacts, and manage locations. § Location and Sub-location Hazcom Plans and Emergency Contacts have been updated to give facility specific information only. Changes in Nomenclature: • Primary Locations = “Facilities” • Hazcom Test Tracker = “Manual Test Tracker” • Training Tracker is now “Automated Test Tracker” • Chemical name is now “Product Name” Revised: 09/12/2006 Next CONFIDENTIAL
Timelines: • From 10/2 – 10/17 Please do not change your MAXCOM data (Upload Hazcom Plans or assign MSDSs, create synonyms, etc). We also will not add any new MSDSs for you during this time period. • On 10/2 we will be migrating your data from MAXCOM 1. 0 to MAXCOM 2007. • On 10/2 – 10/16, we will be working with your data to assure all data was converted accurately. • On 10/17, your logins will be changed to log into the new Next system. After Migration to MAXCOM 2007: • The website address for MAXCOM 2007 will be issued to you. • We will provide your username and password for both general and administrative users. • The User’s Guide for MAXCOM 2007 is available in both the General and Administrative Logins by clicking the Help on the left hand navigation.
