Navy Ships (OPNAVINST 4700. 7 L) – Voyage Repair Availability: an availability solely for the accomplishment of corrective maintenance of mission - or safety - essential items necessary for a ship to continue on its deployment – N 43 WILL NOT USE ABRASIVE/STEEL SHOT FOR Non-Skid REMOVAL IN C 7 F AOR

NOTE: ALL REPAIR ITEMS IN C 7 F AOR ARE SOLICITED TO PRIVATE CONTRACTORS EXCEPT TECH SUPPORT

Voyage Repair Execution • CLWP N 43 Type Desk Officer/Marine Surveyor will: - Meet Voyage Repair Execution • CLWP N 43 Type Desk Officer/Marine Surveyor will: - Meet ship upon arrival - Brief the ship on: Job Order specs, ship-contractor coordination requirements, S/F and repair activity QA requirements, list of ship provided Government Furnished Material (GFM) - Be sole POC between S/F, NAVSUP FLC and contractor for all actions concerning work specifications. TDO/Marine Surveyor will also be the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). • S/F will provide: - List of Quality Assurance Inspectors to support repairs - Witness all test and inspections in work specs - Required GFM in accordance with technical specs - In-process inspections of work being accomplished - Ship specific/design system parameters to aid determination of test requirements - Post-Voyage Repair evaluation report message
