Student Name Friday Folders Sent home every Friday Includes graded papers from previous week, notes from teacher, or information from office Parents sign inside of folder Return empty folder Monday morning
Subject Folders Every student will be given a two pocket folder for each subject Study guides, worksheets, homework, and other papers for that subject should be kept in folder
Homework Book/Sheet Every student is responsible for writing homework in homework folder (teacher will supply folder) Homework will always be written on board in order for the students to copy. Homework Board
Homework Missed Assignment Policy Must always make up the missed assignment immediately at recess or the following night at home 1 st - make up during recess 2 nd - make up during recess and stay in the remainder of the recess 3 rd - Note goes home to parents 4 th – Detention and note home This will start at the beginning of each month
Spelling Day 1 – Pretest- Contract and Workbook assigned Day 2 – Contract Time Day 3 – Workbook Due Day 4 – Contract Due Day 5 – Test • Students will be responsible for completing rest of assignments as homework • May use computer to complete activities
Reading Homework Read story at home to an adult Vocabulary cards – complete and study

Social Studies State Project • Each child will be assigned a state • This project will begin the first week of school, by sending letters to the states Chamber of Commerce • Due Date will be some time in the third marking period • The students will also be given some time in school to research using the internet
