Church Member Submissions Includes TIB and FGRA Database entries on paper started 1969 Source documentation required Submissions on diskette started in 1991 Data accuracy ranges from very poor to excellent, unfortunately no real quality control All paper submissions available on microfilm
Controlled Extraction Program Teams extract records: two extractors, one checker and one auditor Extract parish registers and civil records such as birth, christening and marriage registrations No death records extracted (except when a child died young)
IGI Source Information Again, the key word in IGI is …… ? ? All source information should be available. Church member submissions usually start with an “F” or digits 69, 7, 8, 9. Extraction entries usually start with a “C”, “M” or “P”.
