Time and Duration • Up to a maximum period of 36 months abroad (total) = 3 years • Max. duration of the X = 78 weeks = 1 year & 7 months • Minimum duration = 6 weeks • Staying more is by EP own responsibility • Duration of contract with AIESEC: 3 months • Not be older than 30 years • Within 2 years after graduation
Duties • Provide valid and true information; • Get insurance for the whole duration of the internship; • Start and follow up all visa procedures; • Do and participate in activities in which you can show your culture; • Fill out the measurement surveys when the LC/MC asks to; • Keep this communication channel: intern-AIESEC–company; • Keep in touch with the Home LC at least twice a month.
Rights • Receive full information about the host country and the migratory requirements before arriving; • Be helped out to find accommodation; • Be picked up in the airport; • Be helped out to start the visa procedures until getting it (invitation letter); • Come to AIESEC if something wrong is regarding the internship; • Have cultural involvement in the host country; • Be invited to participate in AIESEC activities –integration.
Expenses Procedures • EP must pay the application fee, airplane ticket, life insurance, . • Ending with no valid excuse, EP must compensate the TN financially • EP can end internship without financial penalties if: • He has a strong family emergency / becomes very ill / is discriminated / is in an emergency declared area / his job is completely different from the description TN form. • The organization does not provide the basic work conditions or salary for 2 consecutive months.
