Location and distances The commune of Łapy is situated in the eastern part of Poland in the Podlaskie voivodship. Białystok (the voivodship capital ) – 25 km, 20 min. by car and 15 min. by train. Closest airports: WARSAW( AIRPORT) - 160 km KAUNAS, Lithuania – 269 km WILNIUS, Lithuania – 330 km Closest harbour: Gdańsk – 408 km

Rail transport Łapy’s great asset is the railway system. Łapy is situated on the route of international railway line E 75 Warsaw – Białystok – Sokółka – Suwałki – Trakiszki – national border, which is part of Corridor I, called Rail Baltica, connectng Helsinki with Warsaw, via Tallin, Riga and Kaunas.
