The main farmstead has a pretty setting on a hillock overlooking the Okozondara River. It is surrounded by stands of large umbrella thorn trees. The entire setup is palatial indeed and tastefully appointed. The main farmhouse is a four bedroom dwelling with a large garden and newly built 12 m pool. The managers’ house is also a large four bedroom dwelling. The private guest flat is a spacious onebedroom dwelling.

The entire garden is being revamped. Part of the project is the planting of huge new lawns to round off the picture. The fruit trees consist of olives, peach, guava, Israel pomegranate and various citrus species.

Electricity is supplied by Nampower which supplies the main residence and guest tract, the abattoir and walk in cool rooms and the most of the boreholes. Emergency generator sets kick in automatically should the Nampower supply be interrupted.

A separate dam with a storage capacity of 250, 000 litres is used for the garden. To cater for the game, three reservoirs of 250, 000 litres capacity each to provide game holes with water. At each hole there is either a 5000 - or 10, 000 litre tank for immediate needs. These are fed by various boreholes via the central storage reservoirs. There are eight boreholes at the house, each equipped with submersible pumps and interlinked to pump in turns. There is a fountain with a very strong borehole, and this borehole as well as other boreholes in the veld is interlinked with each other. All told there is about over 600, 000 l of water storage facilities, enough to supply the farms’ needs for two weeks. There are four

It also has a large hide specifically designed for the nature lover and photographer. The hide has bedding for two occupants. This camp is currently under construction to enlarge it more than twice the existing size to cater for ten guests. It can also be used as a self-catering bush camp for families or as a breakaway for corporate groups. Electricity is supplied by solar power. For the enjoyment of the nature lover 12 nicely built ground hides have been built as well as nine new thatch-roofed observation lofts.
