COMPOSITION AND PURPOSE OF THE CLUSTER • Participating countries: Croatia (lead country), Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania • Purpose: International cooperation focused at several specific - segments of national qualifications frameworks development: cooperation on referencing and self-certification processes comparability of qualifications: reaching agreement on mutual recognition of old qualifications/diplomas in the region exchange of experience and peer learning in the field of recognition of prior learning - RPL (validation of informal and nonformal learning) Croatian Qualifications Framework 2
PLANNED ACTIVITIES • International Conference on the referencing of the CROQF to the EQF and QF-EHEA (October 2011 in Split) – a platform for presentation and discussion about the Croatian referencing process as well as a peer learning event for regional participants. • Seminar/workshop on comparability of qualifications • Workshop on Recognition of prior learning Croatian Qualifications Framework 3

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CROQF MSES = National Coordination Body = National Coordination Point The tasks of the NCP include: • a) referencing levels of qualifications within NQFs to the EQF levels; • b) ensuring that a transparent methodology is used in the referencing process • c) providing access to information and guidance to stakeholders on how NQFs relate to the EQF; • d) promoting the participation of all relevant stakeholders including, in accordance with national legislation and practice, higher education and vocational education and training institutions, social partners, sectors and experts on the comparison and use of qualifications at the European level Croatian Qualifications Framework 6
REFERENCING REPORT • One joint report • Submission in August • Pesentation at the Advisory Group meeting in October • International conference on October 27 in Split followed by the cluster meeting Croatian Qualifications Framework 7
