JOHN RONALD REUEL TOLKIEN (1892 – 1973)

• • John Ronald Reuel Tolkien was born January 3, 1892 in Bloemfontein. His father, Arthur Reuel Tolkien(1857— 1895), was the manager of the bank of England. His mother was Mabel Tolkien (1870— 1904) from Birmingham. The coup moved to South Africa not long before the birth of their son, because Mr. Tolkien had a career development. Tolkien is the creator of several artificial languages: Quenya, or the language of the high elves; Sindarin is the language of the grey elves Tolkien knew dozens of languages, new languages was largely guided by the beauty of sound.
