Many stories in Acts start with ‘stand up’: Luke’s way of referring to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This story is also a comprehension of Easter: from Death (the Lamb slaughtered), risen from the dead to the joy of the rapture at Pentecost’. The hesitation of the Jews against the gentiles can be easy transmitted to us today in our context. The story of the Ethiopian Eunuch is also our story about reconciliation. In Jesus Christ there is unity in diversity. ICEL
