A, 500 us, 25 Hz} – Studies toward high power operation • {5 m. A, 20 us, 2. 5 Hz} in Jan. 2007 #1 st successful beam • -> Jun. 2007: {5 m. A, 50 us, 25 Hz}, {5 m. A, 250 us, 5 Hz} # high duty • -> Jan. 2008: {30 m. A, 50 us, 1 Hz} # high beam-current – Various improvements using beam diagnostics systems • But more studies needed • RCS : Beam accelerated to the design value, 3 Ge. V – 1 bunch operation: 4. 4 x 10^12 ppb with 25 Hz (52. 5 k. W) • peak current 25 m. A, bunch width 560 ns, for 4 minutes • Beam loss is at injection collimators – Toward “stable” operation with 20 k.
