Nowadays it becomes popular to belittle the role Russia played in the victory over Nazism. Leaders of some foreign states even claim that it was Russia who began World War II while Germany tried to protect Europe from the Russian and communistic aggression.

It’s hard to hear such a false. I remember the stories my Granny has told me. She told how it was difficult for her family to survive the war, how they starved and how her parents worked around the clock for the sake of the victory.

I love my Motherland respect its history. Our people stood out in that awful war, they brought European folks peace and paid the price of their own lives for it. I’m so much sorry that now European and American politicians try their best to make everybody forget the feat and glory of our soldiers. If nazis won…
