Islamic philosophy - a set of philosophical doctrines, developed in the Middle Ages, the thinkers of the peoples of the East, who took the Muslim faith and enjoyed mostly Arabic.
Nowadays, Islamic philosophy has undergone significant changes, including under the influence of western civilization and philosophy. The term "Arab philosophy" - not the only one that is used in this sense. Philosophers and historians of philosophy also speak of "Islamic philosophy", "the Arab-Islamic Philosophy, " "Philosophy of the Arab East" and so on. N. Because Islam in Muslim countries is mandatory doctrine in these countries, there existed a kind of hybrid or traditional areas of philosophy with Islamic theology
History -In the development of Islamic philosophy can be divided into three main stages: -classical, medieval or (VIII-XV cc. ); -the late Middle Ages (XVI-XIX centuries). -modernity (second half of XIX-XXI centuries. ). -The emergence of Arab philosophy associated with the activities of the early representatives of the kalam (rational theology), which began with a discussion on the freedom of the human will and divine attributes, to the elaboration of concepts is beyond the scope of religion.
