Other Guidelines to Consider Please observe all housing etiquette within the rules of your residence. § Smoking is generally discouraged in America. Smoking is prohibited inside buildings. Smoking is permitted 20 feet away from campus buildings. § The legal age for alcohol consumption is 21 years of age; open containers of alcoholic beverages are prohibited in public areas. If you consume alcohol, please do so in a responsible manner. § Please observe courtesy rules within your residence with regard to keeping noise levels at a minimum.
