2. Need for Type Approval To ensure quality of telecom products To protect consumer interest To make sure telecom equipments abide frequency policy and power levels To create a level playing field for all Nepal Telecommunications Authority 3
• Customer site Terminals that connect to public switched Networks (eg: GSM, CDMA, DECT, etc) • Low Power Devices (LPDs) or Short Range Devices (SRDs) (eg: 802. 11 a/b/g/e/n, Bluetooth device, etc) Non-Radio Telecommunications Equipments 3.
