ADVS features at a glance Astronomical Digital Video System; n is all digital n ADVS features at a glance Astronomical Digital Video System; n is all digital n has only one CCD read noise per image n is progressive scan n image start, mid. and end times to +/-0. 001 seconds UT n exposure range 30 frames per second to 8 seconds per frame n requires no Instrument Delay compensation n video easily converted to FITS, complete with metadata n time OSD not embedded on the image, not blocking FOV n (eventually) remote/automated controllable n has complete control over gain, gamma and offset n means you don't have to deal with codecs n uses new. adv file format n. adv file can be repaired if not closed properly n has a choice of 3 cameras @ 3 price ranges n developers are very nice guys, and modest too. . . : -)
