Overview of the interview with ITS n Indication of the possibility to override rules n How to manage priority in waiting lists n What happens to a student on the waiting list when the spots are available? n What is the maximum number of waiting lists a student can be listed? n Does a student want model schedule to guide his or her selection? n How can the system make the difference between courses taken and required courses?

Requirements/Suggestions n Possibly define and propose multiple course schedules to the students ¨ Depending on n Major n Class standing n Time n Professor n Requirements n Create a waiting list ¨ Participant would automatically get into the class he or she desires ¨ Give priorities according to his or her major and the course required for class standings

Modification of Current system n Let students register and browse courses at the same time n Give indication of courses-full with the exact number n Give priority to certain percentage of students to register (e. g. by class standings or majors) Search Parameters of online registration system n Time n Professor n Major

Ideal System n If a course is required for a major, give priority to student in that major n Keep add/drop available all the time until it closes (※ this can be different from what ITS have said) n Notify that the class is automatically registered for you (Give feedback if necessary) n No limits on how many waiting lists he or she is on n Booklists to be posted when registering n Buy books on online n Other ideals? ¨ Let student take courses with their friends ¨ Phone registration system Out of prototype of our project
