National Association of Municipalities of Mozambique (ANAM) • Association Launch: inaugural Congress, administrative structures & processes • Association Strategic Planning: national workshop for policy direction and priority setting • Association Capacity Building: training in key priority sectors, development of priority services to members, communication strategy Ministry of State Administration • An effective decentralization process to 33 urban municipalities • Ensuring that ANAM is a partner in the decentralization process, in the dissemination of information and training with municipalities Local Authorities • Priority sectors and possible partnerships still to be determined based on results of upcoming ANAM National Strategic Planning Workshop • Strengthening basic municipal management capacity expected to be part of proposed activities
