Program Registration Application ends on March. 10 th, 2013. • Basic requirement is CGPA 2. 0 or above • 980 RMB Application/training fee will be deducted from your agriculture bank account once you are accepted. Please make sure to : -- Read and fully understand all information about 2013 summer programs on the UIC IDO website. -- Read and fully understand the “ 2013 Overseas Summer Program Handbook”. -- Bring with you the “ 2013 UIC Overseas Summer Program Application form” and the “Statement of Undertaking” when you apply. -- Useful link for the above information: www. uic. edu. hk/ido/studyabroadprograms

Passport and Visa • Get your passport as early as possible (if you don’t have one). • Make sure you have at least 6 months validity left on your passport counting from the August 1, 2013 (your passport should be valid at least until February 1, 2014). • Have your visa application been denied by any US visa office in the past 12 months? • No individual visa application will be endorsed by UIC.

Visa Application • Training will be provided before visa interview. • UIC will arrange trips for students to go in group to attend the interview. • Students should be responsible for their own visa application cost, and 200 USD SEVIS cost for US program. • Korean visa may be obtained through travel agency. • Make sure you have High School Graduation Notarized Certificate ready for Canadian UVIC program before visa application (高中毕业 证公证书）

Going Abroad As a Group • We go abroad as a group, ABSOLUTELY no individual travel plan is allowed. • Meeting relatives in destination city is allowed ONLY with written authorization/waiver from Parents given to IDO before departure. • We come back as a group, NO staying-behind is allowed.
