Criteria for Issue v v 13 The SOT Certificate of Appreciation can be presented to any ship recruited by an agency to participate in the VOS, VOSClim, SOOP or ASAP. A ship can have multiple Certificates of Appreciation if it participates in distinct programs for different agencies e. g. VOS for GB & SOOP for AU.

VOSClim. v 14 The Certificate of Appreciation is independent of any national award scheme. The Certificate of Appreciation remains the property of the ship even after de-recruitment from the program for which it was issued, unlike a Certificate of Participation.
