Conclusions n ADSL is the dominant Broadband Access Technology today. n The Subscriber’s choice generates the need for a flexible Home Gateway platform solution. n Service Providers, System Houses, IC suppliers and Standardization Groups face their specific challenges and requirements due to the customer’s choice. n A flexible Home Gateway Processor will be the heart of a Home Gateway to connect different kind of Broadband Access Transceivers with different Home Networking Technologies for different kind of services.
