The M Family Platform consists of the following devices: • MIF – Digital feeder protection & back-up protection for transformers, motors and generators • MIG – Digital protection for rotating machines including small generators and motors, or large generator in a protection scheme • MIN – Digital directional ground overcurrent protection, line protection schemes and as a component for generator, motor and transformer schemes • MIV – Digital voltage and frequency protection • MIW – Digital directional power protection for small and medium generators 3 M Family
