During sentence

Testimonies Convicts staying in the penitentiary unit do not believe that after release can success in a fair, independent life - without returning to crime. They often do not know other life - so they were raised. For some of them it is a way of life or even survival (it happens due to hit the bars to avoid hunger, frost and disease). The Foundation organizes in the individual meetings for interested or selected by tutors convicts with former prisoners, who stood on their own feet, live in sobriety, did not return to bad habits, achieved success in professional and family life. Former prisoners shown residing in prison, that honest life is possible!

Individual conversations Representatives of the Foundation, after receiving a signal of willingness to talk individually, reported by prisoners, conduct a conversation in a cell or other discrete place designated by the administration, offering advice, and while ensuring confidentiality. This is very important for the psyche of prisoners - helps them maintain mental balance. The administration units should ensure the possibility of discrete personal interview in a cell or a separate room, without the involvement of third parties, and freedom of movement of representatives of the Foundation in the unit. They should also be in constant contact with the Foundation and report every meeting need. It is necessary for the implementation of the program element.

Guardian angel the project is aimed at inmates who receive a pass. Those who receive them in their duration are taken in the custody of the "Guardian Angel". A lot of convicted, despite obtaining permission to use the passes, have no opportunity to use them. In most cases those sentenced have neither house nor a family or anyone close who could pick them up at the pass and take under their roof.

Misterium The aim of the course is to create an original screenplay based on the knowledge and texts prepared by the prisoners. Presentation is based on the chronological reconstruction of the events described in the prayer of the stations of the Cross, enriched by the facts described in the Gospels and the creation of parallel stories about the events in the life of the convicted person.

Movietherapy Program of therapy by movies in an attempt to connect the correction of bad behaviour with the entertainment. Participants watch movies about different issues such as alcoholism, marital relations, divorce, etc. Program refers to the effect/rules/concept of mirror (it has different names) described in psychology.

Families support „Read to me” - is the art of combining what is separated. The aim of the project is to support children of the prisoners / convicts in prisons and detention centers by giving them an opportunity to connect with their imprisoned children. Under the project, the inmates have the opportunity to record a CD with the fairy tale for their children. „Meetings for families” - The staff and volunteers of the Foundation ensure that the condemned can also celebrate important moments like Mother's Day or other Holidays. Usually, it is a form of collective view within the unit. The husband or partner and children visit the convicted person. The volunteers prepare for this occasion various activities related to the topic of the meeting. These are plays and games for the whole family – for the imprisoned parent to integrate with the child, but above all for activating the child (therefore avoid boredom) so that the parents have time for a tranquil conversation.

Pilgrimage During the pilgrimage each participating prisoner take care of a disabled person. It helps them get to the goal of the pilgrimage, assisting and nurturing the patient. This concern for another human with disability teaches prisoners and former prisoners tolerance, sensitivity, humility and how to overcome their weaknesses. This allows them to think also about themselves and their lives and realize that there are people who every day have to overcome many obstacles in order to live normally, without giving up at the same adversity. Care for others, depending people is one of the most effective forms of rehabilitation and social reintegration.

After release

Coaching for prisoners We work with people who come to freedom and seek support and work. We meet with qualified Coaches. Coach does not only support the beneficiary in the entire process of job search, job interviews and start of working, what's important coach supports a person in the first days of work helping himself/herself to find in a new situation. Mediates between employers and potential employees creating employee-employer relationship. In this project we do not only write CVs and cover letters or improve techniques of self-presentation, but in mutual partnership relationship coach - the beneficiary allow anyone to explore their own, new ways of self-realization. We assist in the job search process and give feedback on the errors in the proceedings.

First steps on freedom It is an original project within which the prisoner will send experts and trainers. They run classes and workshops. Among the professionals are eg. psychologist, lawyer, counselor, coach or other person in accordance with the needs of those to whom we follow the project. In situations where the group consists of people who will come out soon on freedom, we help to improve techniques of selfpresentation, advise how to look for job and conduct training on effective methods of job search. When the group consists of people who have a problem with substance abuse, among professionals are addiction expers.
