• Usually fashion reflects people’s values, feelings and beliefs. We would like to tell you about Punk and Goth.

Who is a punk? • It is a young person who dresses in a shocking way to express his or her identity. They love extravagant hairstyles and wear metal chains. Punk’s music is aggressive. They reject everything.

History of Punk-rock. • Punk-rock began in the early 1950 -s in the USA. Within a few years, it had become America’s newest and most popular kind of music. In the mid- 1950’s it became the central part of teenage rebellion in the West.

• Punk’s subculture has their own beliefs, value systems, fashion and favorite music

Who is Goth? • Most Goths become Goths because they have been spurned by «normal» society because the way they wont to live does not fit in with how most people are told to live theirs.

• Goths are free thinkers, the people who do not accept the moral rules of society. • People in the Goth scène all have different musical and fashion tastes, follow different religions, have different occupations, hobbies.

• Modern Goth started in the early 80's as part of the punk subculture. The punk clothing and hairstyles disappeared. They dress in black outfits. But they continue to reject everything and not to conform the society’s standards. Nowadays there are more Goth bands around the world than in 1990 -s.

• So we must say, Subculture is a way of life for many young people.
